Harlem Eat Up.

harlemAs a Brooklynite, I don’t have the opportunity to pop up in Harlem as much.  There is so many reasons to head  uptown now with all the new eateries and bar.  There is now a true Harlem Renaissance again. This weekend is a real good reason  to embrace Harlem World. One of the most fun- filled eating weekend starts this week . I had the opportunity go last year and it was non stop eating , drinking and dancing. Make sure you get some comfy shoes and wear your weekends best because this event is souled out.

Taste of the Upper West Side

The summer season is almost here and  that means tons of great events in our city. My top choice for the months of May/June will be the 11th annual  Taste of the Upper West Side . I’ve been supporting this since the first year. Every year this event keeps growing and gets better with age.  Like the past few years,  there will be two nights of  exploring the tastiest bites that the neighborhood  has to offer.  I’m crossing my fingers that the newly opened Lucky Pickle Dumpling Company  will be previewing some of the pickle soft serve I  keep hearing about.  People, get your tickets to this well organized and fun event.  Trust me . The folks of the Upper West side sure knows how to throw a party

aviary-image-1516310258717Sorry for the brief hiatus. The good ol’ groundhog saw its shadow, so it’s time to escape hibernation state. With few more weeks left of  this rather easy winter, it’s almost time to get up, get out and do something. First way to celebrate this new year is by attending events during NYC Beer Fest. If your a fan of beer. The opening day bash has a lineup  of some the top breweries in the states.  New England juiciness from Trillium and then some of west coast finest from Monkish. Of course New York is  represented strongly here.  Go to www.nycbrewed.com for tickets and more details. This one should be bonkers!

The best craft beer show in town ! That about sums it up. This is the best the city that has to offer. With the Fall season around, expect  a variety of some tasty suds. Get your tickets here http://www.nyccraftbeerfest.com. Also you can check out the amazing line up of beers and ciders. Personally, I’m looking forward to taste Grimm’s and KCBC offerings.

It an all star line up, so go get your tickets to one out of the three sessions.

New York Taste 2017

With November  storming around the corner , it’s time to prep for my favorite annual feast.  Yes, Thanksgiving is always a great harmonious day to spend with your love ones, stuff your face with turkey and maybe get a head start with holiday shopping.  Sure I like going to Walmart and go toe to toe with hundred other shoppers but Cyber Monday is more right up my alley.

The sweetness of November usually starts of with probably the best walk around tasting event in New York.  The New York Taste 2017 is surely not an event to miss.

The reason I think its one of top events. New York Magazine always has a lineup of some of the top buzzing restaurants and chefs in the city. Ticket prices are  really reasonable. For the low pricing your gonna leave that venue stuffed. Always great entertainment. Get your tickets now at eventbrite.com/e/new-york-taste-tickets-37281711603.

Expect bites and sips from Greg Baxtrom of Olmstead , Paul Donnelly of Chinese Tuxedo and Kenta Goto of Bar Goto.

I hope to see all my New Yorkers subscribers on November 6th.

Autumn Season

We are in the midst of brisk crisp weather and a over load of pumpkin spice flavoring everywhere. Oh the joys of the festive months of October. Lots of events coming up before the holiday season. Stay tuned !

Taste Williamsburg Greenpoint

In my book, one of the most solid neighborhoods in the food and drink scene is Williamsburg. So many dope spots opened up this year alone, joining some old classics. Stop all that noise, good ol’ Billy Burg is still the place to hang especially is your questing for food.  Can’t hit every restaurant so I suggest you go to the Taste of  Williamsburg/Greenpoint for  a foodgasm .
